CareNotes began in 1988 as a division of Abbey Press, owned and operated by the monks of Saint Meinrad Archabbey. When Abbey Press closed in 2017, CareNotes became a standalone division, continuing to provide hope, help, and healing to those who need it most.
After you complete your online purchase, you will receive 2 email order notifications. The first email is confirmation that your online order has been received: “Your Carenotes order has been received!”
The 2nd email notification “Your Digital CareNotes,” contains a link to the digital CareNote or digital CareNote bundle that you purchased. You can click the access code link directly in the email and you will be directed to a landing page that shows the digital CareNotes included in the bundle you purchased. From there you can choose which CareNote you would like to view.
We are able to resend your access code. Contact us at info@carenotes.com or 800.325.2511 and we will resend your access code. Once you receive your access code, visit digital.carenotes.com; enter your access code to view your digital CareNotes.
Yes, you are able to share the link with a friend or loved one. However, please keep in mind that each digital CareNote is limited to opening on 3 different devices. (Example: You open it on your mobile phone when you first receive the notification email. The next day, you open it on your laptop to read again. You decide to share the access code link with a friend and they open it on their mobile phone. This is the 3rd device. If you attempt to open the link on your desktop computer, you would not be able to view the file, as you have exceeded the 3 device limit.)
There are a couple ways you can share a digital CareNote with a loved one.
Each digital CareNote can be opened on 3 different devices. (ex. desktop computer, laptop computer, and a mobile phone.)
If you open the digital access link on the same computer, but on two different browsers (ex. Google Chrome and Safari) this counts as two separate devices.
No, digital CareNotes cannot be printed. They are designed for viewing on electronic devices only. If you prefer a hard copy, printed versions are available for purchase on our website at www.carenotes.com.
If you have exceeded your device limit of 3, you will be prevented from accessing the digital CareNote on another device.
Please make sure the browser you are using is the most current version (Ex. Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.)
Digital CareNotes purchased from our website do not have an expiration date. If the digital platform is ever discontinued, you will receive a 30-day notice before our agreement with the digital content provider ends.
