Grief is a complicated process that is influenced by the cause of our loss, our past experiences, our physical health, our culture, our religion, our beliefs, and our support systems. While you may feel as if you aren’t behaving “normally,” grief is a natural and universal reaction to loss. It is a physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological response. Love, anger, fear, frustration, loneliness, and guilt are all a part of the grief journey.
